CARROT PEAS CHAPATHI

        Carrot Peas Chapathi is a nice way to include vegetables in our diet. You can also follow the method of stuffing in wheat flour but I prepared by mixing the stuffing in the wheat flour.

INGREDIENTS
WHEAT FLOUR
1 Cup
GRATED CARROT
1 Cup
FROZEN PEAS
¼ Cup
ONION
1
GRATED GINGER
½ Tsp
CUMIN SEEDS
¼ Tsp
RED CHILLY POWDER
1 Tsp
TURMERIC POWDER
¼ Tsp
SALT
To Taste
OIL
1 Tsp

STEP BY STEP PICTURES

Grate the carrot,ginger.


Heat a kadai with oil. Temper with Jeera. Add Onion,Ginger,Carrot.


Now add the Peas,Turmeric powder,Red chilly Powder,Salt. Mix well until the raw smell goes out.

Allow it to cool down. Smash the Peas.


Mix wheat flour,salt,carrot peas masala along with water and make a smooth dough.


Allow it to rest for 15 mins.


Roll it out into thin/thick chapathi.


Heat a dosa pan and place the chapathi and cook till brown spots appear on both sides,


Remove it when it is done.


Brush with ghee if needed.
Serve it with Curd/Pickle.
